New & Expectant Parents

We offer strengths-based therapeutic services designed to promote long-term success to people with Down syndrome of all ages in their unique home and community life. With an emphasis on improving mental health and integrating total communication, our dynamic therapists artfully assist your loved one to develop skills that increase independence and employment-readiness, improve behavior and emotional regulation, and enhance quality of life and self-determination.

Community Employment

Employment is key to independence, purpose, and a sense of belonging in adulthood. We provide meaningful and competitive employment opportunities for individuals with diverse abilities to live the most fulfilling lives possible. Our employment support fully integrates into the community, where individuals work alongside their peers without disabilities, creating inclusive opportunities and meaningful relationships. Through employment discovery, work experience, job search, on-site job coaching, and vital partnerships with employers in the community, we are prepared to help at every stage of the employment journey.

Adult Continuing Education (ACE)

Lifelong learning is critical for a self-determined, purposeful life. Our Adult Continuing Education (ACE) program includes distinct and specialized educational services for adults with Down syndrome. ACE services provide adults with learning opportunities and social enrichment, helping them build the skills needed for a fulfilling, independent life. ACE participants build meaningful relationships, develop personal responsibility and healthy adult behaviors, and engage in the community through service and social opportunities. ACE also helps prepare and teach skills needed for competitive employment.

Fitness & Nutrition

Physical activity and a healthy diet are essential for everyone, but are critical for the daily life and longevity of people with Down syndrome. We offer classes that make movement fun and improve motor development for the little ones, as well as fitness training to increase strength, endurance, and weight management for teens and adults. With a personal certified trainer specialized in Down syndrome and certified in nutrition, we tailor to the personalized needs of the individual and work towards building responsibility and consistency in daily routines.

Caregiver Education

We have served thousands of families over the years, and we've consistently seen that individuals with Down syndrome thrive most when their parents have been well-informed, intentional with skill development, and proactive in planning for their future. We offer parents and caregivers continual large group education and individualized long-term planning consultations to ensure you have practical strategies for financial planning, supporting skills at home, advocating for your child, and attaining federal, state, and county benefits.

SUPPORT SERVICES

Our Support Services include Personal Care Attendants (PCA) and Targeted Case Management (TCM), both designed to promote independence and quality of life. PCA offers compassionate, in-home support with daily tasks like hygiene, meals, and transportation.
